There was no shortage of epic shows and tours in 2015, but some left concertgoers talking more than others. Fans have submitted more than 3 million concert reviews to Ticketmaster, so we decided to crunch the numbers and see which shows inspired the most fan reviews this year.
Major tours by pop royalty like Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift are no surprise here, but there are also some unexpecteds like Jay Z’s two super intimate shows at NYC’s Terminal 5.

Rock & Pop
Paul McCartney had a huge year that included the final leg of his Out There! Tour, unforgettable performances at Lollapalooza and Firefly Music Festival, and an epic appearance on the SNL 40th Anniversary Special. The gushing fan reviews leave no doubt about it: Beatlemania is alive and well.

Bassnectar lit up the festival circuit in 2015 with euphoric sets at Austin City Limits, Bumbershoot, Made in America, Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, and many more. Fans’ minds were blown, and their reviews are so vivid we can almost feel the bass.

Alt Rock
Foo Fighters killed it on the Broken Leg Tour, wowing fans with the live-wire energy they brought to their career-spanning sets. Dave Grohl is known for giving 110% on stage, so it’s no surprise fans were left buzzing after the show.

Country & Folk
Garth Brooks hit the road this year with country superstar Trisha Yearwood, treating ticket buyers to two world-class musical artists for the price of one. Just as you’d expect, fans were doubly impressed and shared details about their positive experiences in Ticketmaster fan reviews by the truckload.

Hard Rock & Metal
GHOST rocked harder than seemed humanly possible on their Black to the Future Tour, and fans were all about it.

Editors’ Notes
Although Kid Cudi has always played by his own rules, Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven offers some of his most genre-blurring music yet, taking inspiration from the confessional ‘90s indie scene. Over the crunchy guitar and primal drumming of "Confused!," Cudi rattles off suicide scenarios next to lines like, “These walls ain’t talking back/Might as well finally paint them black/I’m out of ideas.” "The Nothing"'s lo-fi vibe recalls the rough-and-ready sound of a Nirvana demo. Still, there are lots of reminders of what we’ve always loved about the boundary-pushing artist; including “Adventures,” which opens with acoustic guitar and his melodic flow before adding an old-school drum break and deep-space echo.

Biography
Born and bred on Chicago's South Side, pop-R&B singer and songwriter Jeremih taught himself how to play several instruments and didn't consider himself a vocalist until a warmly received talent show performance. At Chicago's Columbia College, he struck up a partnership with fledgling producer Mick Schultz, and the two closely collaborated on the material that became Jeremih's debut album. In March 2009, slow jam "Birthday Sex," the first single, debuted on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip Hop chart, eventually topped it, and even crossed into the Top Ten of the Hot 100. Thanks to that hit, Jeremih, released that June with production handled entirely by Schultz, debuted at number six on the Billboard 200. A year later, Jeremih issued his follow-up, All About You. Like the debut, it was produced by Schultz and spawned a Top Ten pop hit, though it was a club track -- "Down on Me" -- featuring 50 Cent. Five years passed prior to the release of Jeremih's third album. The protracted gap between full-lengths entailed numerous delays, a period during which the singer distanced himself from his earlier hits and blamed himself and his label for the slippage. The artist nonetheless hardly pulled a disappearing act, with the high-profile mixtape Late Nights with Jeremih, a Top Ten pop hit in the form of "Don't Tell 'Em" (produced by Schultz and DJ Mustard, and featuring YG), as well as appearances on numerous tracks headlined by other artists, most notably DJ Khaled's "Hold You Down." Late Nights: The Album finally arrived in December 2015 with guest spots from J. Cole, Future, Big Sean, and Ty Dolla $ign, among others. ~ Andy Kellman

"Bottom of the Bottle" single featuring Lil Wayne and August Alsina, Canal Street Confidential is the Curren$y's first major-label album release in over three years. Expect more "up" and less "stoned" numbers as the rapper road-tested these songs on tour, basing the final track list on what audiences reacted to the best.
